Hungry by Stephanie Hamilton

"We all HUNGER for more meaning.  Searching endlessly, and insatiably so...trying to fill the cracks that creep into our existence.  We are waiting for someone, or something to come and light up our lives, when all along WE are the solution, WE are the creation, WE ARE OUR OWN SAVIOR." Stephanie's book is quite unique, it is hard to really classify. When reading it I am drawn in by the inspiring, thought-provoking, and thruthful words that she speaks, reflecting on our journey into finding what we need to fill that hole inside, that hunger we feel, but know not what for. Creating one year from now!

Today we’re looking out ahead just like the leopard in the early morning sun … Where will you be one year from now? While we’ll be planning with the end in mind in this series, a good place to start is by looking at what’s been accomplished this year. Every action we’ve taken in the last year has built the future we have right now. The Power of Winning Habits!

The countdown is on … it’s the opening ceremony of the 2012 Olympic Games in London tonight! All the athletes are about to ‘strut their stuff’ after years of dedication, perspiration and preparation!   Can Michael Phelps do it again? That accomplishment set a record for the most gold medals ever won in a single Olympic Games. He’s won 14 career Olympic gold medals; the most by any Olympian. In terms of total career Olympic medals, he’s ranked … [Read more...]

What are you looking for?

The magic of taking a second look On my first, split second glance at this photo … I saw an autumn leaf resting in its crinkled colourful glory on a moss covered branch. On looking more closely, I discovered a masterpiece of nature … a beautiful moth with velvet wings! We ain’t seen half of it! It reminded me of an exercise I often do in my workshops. I start by asking the participants to look around the room and take everything in. The next step is to close their eyes and count the number of white things in the room. It’s amazing when I ask them to open their eyes and tell … [Read more...]

Dying to be me

Dying to be me by Anita Moorjani As you know by now I am big Hay House fan, and a fan of Dr Wayne Dyer. I have read many of his books and those of other authors from Hay House, including Cheryl Richardson, Debbie Ford and of course Louise Hay. So when I heard Wayne Dyer describing this book, Dying To Be Me by Anita Moorjani as a life changing book, then it got my attention. In fact, Wayne Dyer has described this book as one of the most important, fundamentally significant books of our time. So I had to read it. After all of that expectation, as if often the way when something has a lot of … [Read more...]
